About your facilitator

Tonia is a mother of a teen, a Wound Care specialist registered nurse, and a certified Non Linear Movement Method facilitator.  Tonia came to this practice through her own healing journey, and has been galvanized to share this method with others in response to what she has observed as a nurse.  It is Tonia's belief that our culture perpetuates a disembodied approach to living, which has disastrous effects on the health and well-being across the life span.  Tonia is not a therapist or coach.  Her approach is to create opportunities and guide individuals through an embodied experience which allows access to the innate wisdom of the body and each person's birthright of a feeling of wholeness and well-being.  Tonia is trained by Michela Boehm, founder of this method, and continues to take additional courses with Michela Boehm to deepen her practice and enhance her offering.  Tonia is located in Astoria, Oregon, where she enjoys access to the natural beauty of the forest, Columbia River, and Pacific Ocean.
